Hindi film industry.for the sake of those who can`t understand hindi I have included english subtitles.All the movie
lovers, who have not seen this movie must watch it.I am sure they will certainly enjoy it.this is probably the best
source of this classic movie from where I have ripped this avi file. only problem is a slight AUDIO DISTORTION and this
version is in 4:3 FORMAT.moreover there is slight difference in the original version and this Director`s cut version
like few scenes were included which were not there in original release.climax of the film is also different-that is
Gabbar is killed by Thakur in this version but in original version police arrest Gabbar in the end.I have also included
this climax in this torrent. 





      although most of you know how to watch movie with subtitles on pc using mp star player or to re encode avi file to
dvd with subtitles using dvd flick but I have included both the software for this purpose for those who do not know how

              Sholay  (English: Embers) is an Indian film directed by Ramesh Sippy. It is the biggest hit in the history
of Bollywood, India's Hindi film industry. Released on August 15, 1975, it stars Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh
Bachchan, Hema Malini, Jaya Bhaduri and Amjad Khan. The movie, shot in the rocky terrain of Ramanagara (actual city in
Karnataka), is the story of two petty criminals hired to capture, for a bounty, a ruthless dacoit by the name of Gabbar
Singh.



Sholay is the highest grossing film of all time in Indian cinema. It has earned Rs. 768,81,00,000, equivalent to US$ 160
million, after adjusting for inflation. When first released, the film was declared a commercial disaster. Word of mouth
convinced movie-goers to give the film a chance and soon it became a box-office phenomenon. It ran for 286 weeks
straight (more than five years) in one Mumbai theatre, the Minerva. Sholay racked up a still-record 60 golden jubilees
across India and doubled its original gross over reruns during the late 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s.[3] Sholay
was the first film in the history of Indian cinema to celebrate silver jubilee (25 weeks) at over a hundred theatres
across India.



In 1999, BBC India declared it the "Film of the Millennium"; Indiatimes movies ranks the movie amongst the Top
25 Must See Bollywood Films. In that same year, the judges of the 50th annual Filmfare awards awarded it with a special
award called Filmfare Best Film of 50 Years

Plot:



Two convicts and small time crooks (Amitabh and Dharmendra) are picked by Thakur (Sanjeev Kumar), a former police
officer, to seek vengeance on the dangerous bandit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) because he killed all of Thakur's family
(except a daughter-in-law) and maimed Thakur for life.This was a result of an earlier incident in which Thakur -- acting
as a police officer -- had captured Gabbar and helped in his conviction in the court. Gabbar managed to escape and
wreaked havoc in Thakur's life. Now Thakur seeks the help of these two crooks to get Gabbar. The ensuing action makes
for one of the most exciting Indian movies made to date.
